Japanese Matcha Green Tea
2 oz of loose leaf tea yields approximately 25, 8 oz. cups of tea.
Iced Matcha Latte Ideas:
Whisk 2 oz of hot water (up to 190 F) to cup and whisk until smooth.
Add 12 oz of unsweetened coconut milk or 2% milk and half a tablespoon of honey.
If you want a frothy iced latte use a smoothie blender to and pulse for 30 seconds to blend. Otherwise, use a whisk to combine all ingredients and add ice.
A splash of vanilla extract is a great addition and for the cold months, turn this into a hot drink by using hot milk and optionally adding a tablespoon of dark cocoa powder.
